How to look up Alfa Romeo parts by VIN

Three platforms under one badge
The Giulia and the Stelvio share the rear-drive Giorgio platform and are built at Cassino, the Giulia since 2015 and the Stelvio since 2016. The Tonale, built at Pomigliano d’Arco since February 2022, sits on the Small Wide 4x4 platform of the Jeep Compass and the Dodge Hornet, and its plug-in hybrid runs a 1.3 turbo petrol engine from the Jeep side. North American Alfas and Mopar numbers
In North America, dealers sell Alfa Romeo service parts under Mopar numbers. A US Alfa parts counter lists the Giulia 2.0 oil filter as 4892339BE, the engine air filter as 68301538AA and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio cabin filter as 68392124AA. None of them looks like an eight-digit European reference.
When a number arrives from a US invoice, do not try to convert it. Identify the car by VIN, read the reference the catalog gives for that build, and match the two only when the part itself confirms it.
